6/17/2023 0 Comments Speed20 xbench scoreplusi want to have an exbech score above 100!!! lol Please keep your posts comming, it seems i am not the only one with this problem., and as always your help is much appreciated. i think it could be because the DVD i used emulates SSE3 but i could be very very wrong. Sorry if i was unclear, when i said my xbench score was 68, i meant that was only the CPU setion of xbench running, that is why i am concerned. Only way to increase your cpu score is overclocking, if your cpu allows it. No problems on this end since the change, and my machine is snappier. If you have graphic artifacts after this change, just delete the preference file "" in /Library/Preferences and you're back where you began. Using "PlistEditPro" to do this, makes it easy. Not convinced, check it before running "Quartz Debug"Įnable Quartz2D Extreme and turn off beam synchronization. Note that the preferences file /Library/Preferences/ doesn't exist until you run the Quartz Debug application. Run "Quartz Debug" application, part of the developer's tools. To increase your Xbench score, you can try this, which should increase the "Quartz Graphic and User Interface" part of the Xbench test, which in turn, will increase the overall score. The only other information that i think could be useful is that my CPU does not show up as SSE3 under the system profiler. I am currently running 10.4.5 natively, using the prepatched iso. I would like to say that i thik i have a pretty good CPU, so why am i only getting 68 on my xbench scores? If the benchmark results are set to a baseline of a 2GHz G5 then surely i should be getting somewhere near this?
